Let's start with the positive. The dentist was really nice.. Dr. Leavitt and he spent a good amount of time examining my teeth. The office environment was clean and orderly. However, I have never in my lifetime been greeted by a dental assistant who sits me in the dental chair and says, "You don't have to be here. No one is forcing you to stay. You are welcome to leave if you want." Let's think about this...most people experience dental anxiety and I am one of them. That comment did very little to alleviate my anxiety. I would have expected something more to this after noticing I was anxious..., " I can see you are a bit nervous. Don't worry, you are in good hands." She pretty much ruined the whole dental visit with several rude comments...still can't believe I heard that!

I'm very disappointed in my husband experience while getting one of his teeth pulled. The dentist came in and started to pull the wrong tooth than proceeded on the right tooth. My husband felt everything and my husband told them that. It's like they didn't care. He came home in so much pain. We will not be coming back and will be finding a new dentist.

Decent place, love the up front ladies & the hygienist. The cleaning is done a little too fast for my liking & when the fake part of my front tooth chipped off again dentist kept mentioning a crown; he fixed the tooth & less than a month later it broke again. I went back to my old dentist who told me I'm no where near needing a crown, he was able to fix the tooth & have it stayed fixed for over a year now.

If “computers are down” and you are asked to sign paper forms for your care, be very careful and ask, “does my insurance pay for this?” I was careless and signed, thinking I was only getting a routine cleaning, but an additional procedure was slipped in that my insurance did not cover (and that I did not want). Poor customer service when I objected to the charge.

Absolutely awful. My husband was in excruciating pain, missed a day of work, I was able to get him in and all they said is that they couldn’t pull the wisdom tooth causing pain. They wouldn’t prescribe anything or do anything for him. His normal dentist was put on vacation and couldn’t get him in for another week so we tried this office. Mistake and waste of money.

I have gone to this dentist for the last 5 years. The last time there they would not clean my teeth unless they could do the ultra sonic cleaning. I had three sensitive teeth due to crowns. I left because they wouldn’t clean any of my teeth. I just went to Crowe Family Dental and they told me I have some periodontal disease and need to take care of it. For the love of god why didn’t Midwest tell me I had the start of that. Don’t go there. They don’t care about you. You are just a number there.

Dentist is good. Hygienists are good. Will not go back to a place where the receptionist treats me like a toddler who pooped on the floor if i end up having personal reasons for cancelling or rescheduling.

Extremely disappointed in the new Midwest Dental policy of charging patients a $12 fee for a COVID-19 mask for their employees. Yesterday was my first visit (there will be many more to come). I haven't seen a dentist in many years for a variety of reasons, but found that Ashley and Dr. Folchert made me feel very comfortable. In fact, when Ashley set up the appointment for a deep cleaning, she scheduled me with a hygienist that is known for a gentle, but thorough touch because Ashley recognized my anxiety. Dr. Folchert was very straight forward with options moving forward for implants, dentures, partials or a mix of implants and a partial. He wanted me to make an informed decision and provided me with lots of information and will set up a consult with an expert in implants. Debbie provided me with a full list of my dental plan benefits, which helped to relieve my anxiety about costs. All in all, I am pleased with the staff and their level of caring and expertise.

I'm a student at UW- Stevens Point. I went there for a routine cleaning, they took xrays of mouth, and highly recommended that I schedule an appointment to get my wisdom teeth pulled. In my humble opinion, the xrays did not look bad- they were coming in at a slight angle. I figured with time they would straighten out, and they did! I now have all 4 wisdom teeth and they feel great, my teeth are not cramped at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they recommend every patient get their wisdom teeth taken out. Do not trust this dentist, they just want your money! Be very weary of scams when you go there, take everything they say with a grain of salt

I had two fillings by Dr. Behrens and a cleaning done at this office today, following my first check-up last week with Dr. Behrens. He is easily the best dentist I have ever had. I had to wait for my first appointment as he was behind schedule, but I learned today that this is because he takes a lot of time with each patient, which I am more than happy to be delayed for. He is genuine about his philosophy of educating the patient and making sure you are comfortable. He was never in a hurry to get out of the room to move on to the next person, and would talk you through everything he was doing in a helpful tone. It's rare to meet a Doctor who genuinely seems happy to be doing the work that they do, so I will be recommending him every chance that I get.
