I had a terrible experience with this dentist. The receptionist and dental hygienist were both lovely, but the dentist was not good at all. I went in with tooth pain and he insisted on doing a root canal when I wanted the tooth pulled. He seemed annoyed when I disagreed with him. After having one tooth pulled, I returned with six teeth still causing me pain. The dentist told me I couldn't possibly have six teeth hurting at the same time, even though I was in excruciating pain and struggling to eat or brush my teeth. He once again pushed for a root canal, which I declined. He sent me away with medication and told me to see a doctor. Overall, the dentist was very arrogant and dismissive of my concerns. I have been coming to this practice since I was a child and had never had a problem until this dentist arrived. I will not be returning, as the quality of care has drastically diminished with this particular dentist.

My family and I love coming to Chippewa Falls Midwest Dental. The staff is amazing! Cindy at the front desk is always so cheerful and makes all who enter feel comfortable and welcome. She is so knowledgeable, and remembers so many details about patients that you won’t ever feel like a number. She is super helpful when understanding my benefits and getting me in for my appointments. The Dentist is nice, super approachable and very good with my son. My Hygenist Katie is so amazing! She’s gentle with my cleanings but super thorough. As a mother herself she’s great with my son and makes him feel involved when I come for my cleanings. I actually look forward to coming to the dentist because it’s visiting with old friend but with the bonus of great dental care. It only gives you 5 stars to pick, but they are definitely a 10!

I really appreciate the efforts Midwest Dental is taking to keep themselves and patients safe from the spread of infection. Aside from that, my hygienist is the reason I've stayed with Midwest Dental. She's personable, professional, and kind. Update: For some reason, this office cannot keep a dentist for very long, and the quality of the ones they do bring in, permanent or temporary, varies. I originally began going to this office because I knew the dentist who was there at the time and he did good work. I've stayed because of my hygienist, but after the work the most recent dentist did, I may not be going back.

I love the people here and have gone here for years - even before it was Midwest Dental. But no longer can ever call there directly. Over and over again, the answering machine picks up. When at work, I can not be called back so I am very frustrated with this situation. This is not a one time only situation- this has been going on for the past several months when I try to talk to a person there. I wonder why this happens?

My wife and I have been going to Midwest Dental for a number of years. First started out when it was Park Avenue Dental with Dr. Snyder. We have never had a bad experience at Midwest. The entire staff is friendly from the front office to the Hygienist and Dr. Clark. Kelly was my first Hygienist and she was great. Sara is now my hygienist and she is equally great. We no longer have insurance and they give a 5% discount for paying the bill the day of the service. Regular checkups have kept us cavity free for many years. As a side note by 46 year old daughter had braces with Dr. Snyder when she was 13 years old.

These other reviews aren't bunk. I went over a decade without visiting a dentist, based solely on my opinion that "the dentist is awful." I was having severe tooth pain that was spreading to my sinuses, so I had to go. Dr Clark and his staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I had a lot wrong with my teeth, but I didn't feel judged. I got a cleaning and a write up for future needs. I waited until I had insurance to go back, and my experience was just the same. Friendly staff, calming dentist, and a great, painless job. I got a cavity filled (perfectly) with no discomfort or anxiety, and was out in less than 30 minutes. I know have zero hesitation making a new appointment because Dr Clark has won my confidence

I have not always had dental insurance and am guilty of not going to a dentist as often as I should. But Midwest dental is so welcoming and friendly and understanding that it calmed my anxiety. Every person there is extremely friendly and thoughtful. They all know my name before I get in the door and make it feel as though im at a friend's house more than a dentist office. Kate, the receptionist, has even dug in and figured my insurance out where most other places just tell you to figure it out and then come back. They make getting back to the dentist as easy and enjoyable as a dentist office can be. I will definitely recommend them and continue to have all my work done there.
