I went to the Kewanee office for my 6 month check and teeth cleaning. I was taken back on time and the hygienist was very professional and accommodating. The cleaning went routinely and the Dentist that did the exam was also friendly and explained things well. All of my experience was great.

I had a finance is and ask a question I got and abrupt no from the front desk and she could not hang up fast enough. I stopped her to ask question got another abrupt no and she hung up fast. MY question was more for the Dentist and not directed at her. She should have asked the doctor. I like the place until I was treated poorly by receptionist. My daughter uses a MidWest Dental in Waverly Iowa and loves it. I am just steamed because she answered a Dr.s question that she had no business answering.

Great staff and awesome Dentist. I can only give a 4 star rating since I feel the business needs another qualified Dentist working in the Kewanee location to handle patient needs. I truly worry about losing another tooth before being scheduled in a timely manner. They are so booked out that it is impossible to get in when needed. Resulting in major problems before they can get to them. Routine exams are no problem to book . Other services are very difficult to book in a timely manner.

Red flags were raised at the onset. The practice now has new staff, a new dentist, and a new building. The old charts were not copied over properly. They had allergies listed as current meds and no current allergies! The meds that the old practice had on file did not transfer over. The hygienist was exceptional but the dentist was curt, developed a plan of taking out teeth, filling teeth yet no x-rays taken to confirm extent of said cavities. Stated she would get a blood infection if he did not take out roots. We were also there to have a denture part completed, the specialist had sent over information but office knew nothing about it even though I had called twice before her appointment to ask about it and getting the denture completed.( When I called I got two different answers). The dentist stated he would need to do a lot more work on the denture and it would be at least 3 more visits. We will NOT be going back. I do not recommend this place .

Nothing was done without first telling me what they were doing but would also give me a series of events of what to expect.
