Dr. Kevin King

Dr. King graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, before earning his dental degree (DDS) from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1980. Since graduation he has been an important part of Midwest Dental. He has been a member of our Advisory Board and instrumental in establishing our LaCrosse practice.

Dr. King is very active in the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, biking, turkey hunting and has recently competed in his 22nd American Birkebeiner Ski Race. He also likes to play Billiards and is an accomplished photographer. He is very proud of his two daughters. Jessica is a Pediatric Resident Doctor at University Hospitals in Madison. Melissa graduated from UW-Madison with a Masters degree in social work.

Dr. Jerry Utley

Dr. Utley graduated from Bemidji State University and received his DDS in 1981 at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He was a resident in the US Army Dental Corp from 1981 – 1984 and had a private practice in Westchester County, New York until 1998. Prior to joining Midwest Dental, Dr. Utley practiced at The Smile Center in Deerwood, MN.

Dr. Utley is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association. He decided to go into dentistry because he “hated” his dentist growing up and “knew” he could do a better job than him. He provides his patients with the necessary information to make the best choice possible for their oral health.

Dr. Utley was the captain of his college wrestling and tennis teams. He enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis, and loves animals. He follows politics closely and enjoys being involved in environmental causes and projects that benefit the community. Dr. Utley has two siblings and two nieces, all who live in Minnesota.
