Dr. Brian Wier

Dr. Wier graduated in 1978 with a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and in 1982 with a DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wier joined Midwest Dental in July of 1982 and continues to practice in the Menomonie, Wisconsin location. He has served the organization on and off since 1998 as a member of the Advisory Board.

He is a past member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Northwest District Dental Society, where he has served multiple times as a delegate to the Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates. As a member and fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1982, Dr. Wier has held multiple delegations, chair, and executive positions with the Academy, including President of the state constituent from 1996 to 1998. Also a member of the American Endodontic Society since 1990, Dr. Wier attained his fellowship in the organization in 1998.

Volunteer activities include medical/dental missions to Mexico with Christian Hands in Action since 1990, past board member and treasurer of Kinship of Dunn County, committee and board positions with Saint Joseph Catholic Church, the Ministry to the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and past President of the Menomonie Airports Pilots Association.

Dr. Wier and his wife are the proud grandparents of their grandchildren Emily and Christopher. He enjoys boating, downhill and water skiing, running, biking, playing guitar with the Parish folk group choir, and aviation. Dr. Wier currently holds instrument and commercial ratings.
