The people behind the front desk are really nice but when I had to get 4 teeth out, the laughing gas they gave me wasn't working (not their fault) but the surgeon just told me he "didn't know what to tell me" which made me mad, because if it doesn't work then you probably shouldn't go on with the procedure, right? Then once he started to take out one of the teeth, it started to hurt, so I started yelling but he just told me to be quiet, and kept going. It wasn't until I wouldn't stop yelling that he finally stopped and got mad at me even though it wasn't my fault. I don't know if this is just a rare thing, but it didn't feel like it. I am also still a kid, not just some adult screaming their lungs out, also the doctor's name was Dr. Salek. Edit: I'm sorry if i got the wrong place or wrong person.

It is a very professional place who provides great service. They offered me the greatest service from my first call to the end of my visit!! I was first scheduled for two weeks away but they called me once a nearby spot opens up, so that I don’t have to carry over any dental issue into the holidays! That was so considerate. The hygienist and the doctor are both very professional. Did a great job in the exam and cleaning. Check-in/check-out process are simple as well. Front desk is so kind.

My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is they require patients to wear a mask, and it is in their reminder messages and on the door, however, their office staff were not wearing masks two times I went in within the past few months. Regardless of your personal views on masking, it should be congruent with what they are asking their patients to do.

I called Midwest Dental in North Oaks because my husband broke a tooth and we weren’t sure how serious it was. We had never been there yet they got us in the very next day. I talked to Bev, the receptionist about getting him in for the appointment and she couldn’t be any nicer. He was seen by Dr. Carter and her associate and they determined that the tooth was very healthy and would benefit from a crown. The next day I talked to Dr. Carter’s Assistant and discussed the fact that we could not afford a crown at this time. She took the time to explain to me their discount plan and what it would cost to join it. I asked quite a few questions about the plan and she was very patient explaining everything to me. Everyone at the clinic is amazing. I started going there because of Larissa. I’ve been following her for the past 5 years. I went to my appt and found out that she’s no longer with the clinic... I was kinda upset because they called me the day before to confirm my appt but never bother to tell me that Larissa was no longer working there. Even checking in they still didn’t bother to tell me! When the new girl called me back I was confused and asked about Larissa and that’s when she told me but kept it short. Larissa was the best at teeth cleaning and that’s the only reason why I was going there. Like I said I’ve been following her for 5 years! I get it if she wasn’t allowed to tell her Clients or inform them where’s she going but It would have been nice to know when they called. Now time to hunt her down. Don’t get me wrong Midwest is a great dental clinic and so is Christina.
