Dr. Michael Schmidt

Dr. Michael Schmidt attended UW-Stevens Point and received his DDS from Marquette University – School of Dentistry in Milwaukee. Prior to joining Midwest Dental, Dr. Schmidt owned a private practice in Stevens Point for 32 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Central Wisconsin Dental Society, and Portage County Dental Society, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Schmidt believes in treating patients as he would like to be treated. His interest in health care led the profession of dentistry where he could help people in a caring environment.

In his free time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, traveling, reading, motorcycles, Indian Art, music, and spending time with his family.
