I have been going to Midwest Dental for many years but this was my first experience with Dr. An. She did a couple fillings for me and referred me to an oral surgeon for a more complex issue. I saw a doctor today, at Loyola, that resolved the issue in a matter of seconds. It was exactly as Dr. An had projected. She is very knowledgeable, gentle and kind.

I've been a patient of Dr. Schmidt's for many years. Although I live out of state, I continue to come back and schedule visits due to the fantastic service I've always received. His staff does a wonderful job working with my "unique" schedule and has gone out of their way to ensure that I'm able to get any dental work completed during my visits, including some emergency work over the holidays that they were able to accommodate. Karlene did an exceptional job in working to see that my needs were met and followed up to ensure that all work was completed to my utmost satisfaction. Angela has also done a great job during my visits, and I cannot praise Dr. Schmidt and his staff enough for their professionalism and dedication. I would highly recommend their services.

I had been a satisfied patient of Dr. Schmidt since 1989 when I moved to Sandwich. A few years ago I moved from the area. My experiences with other dental offices were not the same as my previous treatments with Midwest Dental. Recently I needed to have my partials adjusted, and although more than three years had passed since I had been to the office, I was received as if I had never been gone. Dr. Schmidt fixed the problem (the issues with the partials were my own fault) and Karleen even called me the next morning to make sure all was well. To start I had a new patient coupon that was supposed to be $49 for new patient. I was told my 15 year old daughter was an ADULT so I had to pay $89. Then while my daughter was getting her teeth cleaned she commented that it hurt and was scolded by the lady telling her "she is 15 and can handle the pain" My daughter walked out in tears. Begging me to never take her back. Between the pain and the shaming for stating it was painful. Will never recommend this place or go back. We were going to schedule appointments for the whole family but not after that.

I know rating the dentist 5 star and 'loving it" isn't something that goes teeth for teeth, but Dr. Schmidt and Angela were wonderful. In fact I felt bad for being there so long and Angela chimes in, "Dr. Schmidt is very thorough." Thorough and professional is definitely adjectives that I would use for Dr. Schmidt. I would recommend anyone new to town or having been in the Sandwich area looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend going to see Dr. Schmidt.
