For 5 years I used this dentistry and gave them slot of business. My mother came to live with me and used them also. The front desk person Jen was very rude to us when my mom missed an appointment. Twice I have left messages to schedule an appointment and she never returns the call. I have never been treated so rudely. I do not recommend. There are other wonderful dentists and personable staff in Forest lake.

I arrived 15 min. early for my appt. and had to wait an additional 10 min. before the hygenist called me in. The dentist gave me an exam and said that I had two small cavities that should be filled, but she didn't show me any pictures (proof) that I had cavities. I was very disappointed with the whole appointment.

Dr. Charles Drexler AND staff were absolutely incredible. I grew up in the Chisago area but no longer live there. I was in the office when a crown was recommended for me. Dr. Drexler sat with me, explain the whole process and even after my 100th question was happy to answer them all. I decided that I was most comfortable driving to this dentist to complete the crown process, even though there was a long drive involved. Dr. Drexler not only made the experience pleasant, but quick and literally painless! Dr. Drexler and staff make you feel welcome, are extremely knowledgeable, and fun. I absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone! They care about their patients, and are generally interested in your wellbeing. Great with schedules and you don't have to wait months for a procedure.

I hate going to the dentist. Doing my taxes is more fun. However, the team at Midwest in Chisago makes it easier. Cherie is real, honest, kind and always making sure I am ok. Even got me a blanket to keep me warm because I was nervous! And Dr. D tells you straight and answers honestly. I had an extraction this week and he didn’t sugar coat it but explained everything before, during and after to make sure I understood everything happening. I even could call his cell if I had an after hour emergency. Yep. I will be coming back.. begrudgingly but not because of them, but because I hate going to the dentist because of previous experiences. This team might just change my mind...

I would recommend never going to this place! They charged me more then my insurance company said I should have to pay and NEVER let me know of the credit balance on my account. When I went in with my daughter and had to pay in advance for her filling they DID NOT apply that credit balance towards her payment, they told me it was on a different account. Funny I am the one that carries the insurance and she's a minor so I would be paying for everything, but it just didn't show up. They again charged more then my insurance said I should have to pay and I had to call them. They send out no statements to let you know if your account has any kind of balance, but I'm sure they would be calling if I owed!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

The dental assistants are great, the dentist on the other hand does not do good work. He actually tried to charge for work that was never done. It has been 3 or 4 weeks and we are still dealing with it. She won't be able to get any work done on it covered by insurance until it is. My wife had a tooth pulled and ended up getting dry socket. He refused to pack it, which is a common practice, so she suffered until we went somewhere else. Also, dentist rotate out of this location pretty quickly. Not sure why.
