Unfortunately the dentist I saw had very poor bed side manner and spoke down to me the entire time. I have chronic dental issues and because of that am more familiar then most with the basic dental health. Not sure what led her to behave that way but I'm hoping she meant well and was maybe just a bit confused. However, not the kind of energy I look for in health care provider and I wouldn't go back. On the other hand the dental assistant and front desk staff were fabulous and helped me clear up some confusion I had with billing all while being very kind and helpful.

I had a broken filling and asked if I wanted to fix it now or hold off, and I was quoted a price for having it done. I'm impressed with their business model of being totally transparent and no hard sell. One day, about a year ago, I called and told them I had a toothache. They made room for me that day and pulled the tooth. Midwest Dental could easily be the standard by which all others are measured. They're that good.

I recently moved to Superior and chose Midwest Dental for the location. My appointment was scheduled for a few weeks out, but I had a great conversation with Tanya regarding my preferred appointment times. A week before my appointment, Tanya called and said they had a morning cancellation and she remembered I preferred mornings so asked if I'd like to take the cancellation. I couldn't believe she remembered! Tanya was great! My dental assistant, Peggy, was fantastic as well! She was very interested in my dental history and went through everything thoroughly. I can't say I enjoyed the cleaning, who does? But, Peggy was so professional, it felt like we were friends when I left. Thank you, Midwest Dental! Can't wait to see you again in six months! :-)

I cannot recommend this office enough! As a parent of four children, trips to the dentist are expected to be awful. Instead, my kids BEG to go. They love updating the sweet front office staff (Peggy & Heidi), whom always make us feel important when we walk in, and take the time to explain co-pays and other confusing insurance stuff to me. Dr. Schwartz and the hygienists make the kids comfortable and are so patient, even with my son with special needs. She also helped me work through some dental estimates from a specialized office she had referred our daughter to, and explained what was necessary to have done, going above and beyond to help us save money and give our daughter the best care. This is the place to go for dental needs in the Twin Ports.

This place is just awful. They lied to my wife and myself about our coverage for services. Dr Palmer is a joke, when she was there she botched a filling so badly on my wife's tooth that almost a year later she has constant pain due to nerve damage. They claim it took 2 and 1/2 months to get an estimate for services from our insurance. Which was a lie, my insurance documents show they had it 6 days after it was submitted. They forged my records to show I had a filling done on the tooth that was messed up, saying I had it filled in 2010 and they "refilled" it in 2016, until 2016 I had NEVER had a filling in my life. Covering their butts much?! Stay away!!! other than 1 professional hygienist Peggy, the place is horrid. And Heidi the receptionist/billing/whatever she is, is rude, and clearly hates her job.
