Started going to this location last year. The staff is always so friendly, and accommodating. When I had to bring my toddler with me I expected attitude, or staff being annoyed— It was the exact opposite though. Everybody engaged with my child to help keep them calm while I was getting my exam and cleaning. Even when the dentist was doing his exam he made sure to check in/talk to my child to keep him engaged. Above and beyond customer service, and excellent dental care. I hope I can go here forever. Definitely recommend!

They got me in super fast to have six of my teeth removed. And the dentist was thorough and explained everything. And so was the dental assistant she made me feel very comfortable where I was even though I was ashamed of what my teeth look like because of the lap band I highly recommend them!!!!!!!!

The actual dentists deserve 5 stars, they are amazing and always make sure you are comfortable. But this morning Renee called me to schedule an appointment due to some pain I was having. And she was extremely rude on the phone. I wanted to call back to see if I can get in a different day, but I do not want to deal with her again. Watch out for their potential bait and switch techniques. I received a document that indicated a cost of $2,900 or $4,000. I called to confirm price and was told that I would have to pay the $2,900. When I went in for the work, I was told cost was $4,000. They could not explain why I was told I would be paying the lower price when I made the appointment. This was the 2nd day I had to take off as they abruptly canceled the first appointment with no warning.

The greatest dentist I have ever been to in my 68 years. I went to the office, on Copeland Avenue in LA Crosse WI. After years of being a loyal patient, they were not willing to own up to a mistake the dentist made on my husband's crown that just fell out after just months of getting it. Insurance wouldn't cover replacement crown, and they expected us to cover the entire cost...a crown should not just fall out like that, obviously subpar work by the dentist Dr. Zelko, and they were not willing to work with us . We wanted to negotiate, willing to pay even half the cost, etc. but nope, no negotiating. It's sad that they won't take accountability for their mistakes. So we're done with this place.

Now the tooth with the cracked filling broke. They finally answered but stated the don't' have any openings for a week and will not make an exceptions for an emergency appointment despite the fact that they ignored her previous calls. Now we need to find a new dentist that will get her in so she doesn't completely lose the tooth.

I've been going to this location for maybe 12 years and frankly its the best dentist office I've been to ( I actually look forward to it). Clean, safe with COVID protocols and appointments are convenient. My hygienist Amanda (a West Virginia transplant) was awesome. My BP was running a bit high and she pointed out where I was on the scale of this might be a concern. I've developed a sensitivity on a tooth and she was extremely helpful in some tips. Dr. Mark Zelko is honestly the best dentist I've ever had. My wife hates going and his chair-side manner has caused her anxiety to disappear. He even corrected a bad diagnosis on a tooth which "needs a root canal" and in fact only needed a crown. Highly recommend this location and this team.

Is it possible to put zero stars? No one should ever go here. I sat down in the chair and the hygienist told me “oh yeah the dentist isn’t in until later today so it’ll just be the cleaning today and if I see anything I’ll have you come back”. WHAT?! Secondly when the hygienist was cleaning my teeth she was barely grazed the tool across my teeth. She missed half of my teeth polishing and flossing! The dental exam was more comprehensive than any of the ones I've had in the past. He checked for oral cancer symptoms, jaw issues, etc. Then went through everything in detail, outlined a treatment plan, and made sure I had all of the information I needed. I didn't have to wait in the waiting room at all, they led me right back. The office is clean and comfortable. I am so happy that I found this place. Dr Zelko is patient and kind and is upfront about what needs to be done. He explains everything before he starts and as he is doing it, I like that they are never any surprises. Karrie, our hygienist, is amazing! She always goes above and beyond to make sure that it is a pleasant experience. She takes her time and is thorough but also very gentle. We just started taking our kids there, she was kind and patient with them as well. Going to the dentist isn't always fun but the doctors and staff here make it bearable. We are always greeted with a smile by the front office staff and have always been treated respectfully. I would recommend this office for anyone with anxiety or children.

My family has visited here for about 2-3 years. I have seen high turnover here. They have had issues with their x-ray machines. Once it took them two hours to get x-rays. They also recommended an unnecessary crown and said there was a cavity where there was none. I have changed dentists now and the cavity that they claimed using the x-ray has never materialized. Be cautious since you might be over treated here.

i should have knew when i called for appointment and the call "right back" took 2 hours...then i got my papers to fill out and they only where capable of putting 4 letters of my last name down. took 1 hour just to get x-rays. Dental assistant ran into x-ray arm at least 3 times. Rested it on my eyeball and against throat. gave me safety glasses and well talking shot water over my face. Shortly after shot down my neck. As had me knee high office manager comes in we will not honor the $89 coupon and will charge you 189 to shoot water at your teeth and schedule you for another appointment for the cleaning and another $89....So i got orally beaten up for an hour for $89. X-rays and no work done!

ok folks i have read the negative comments but i don't understand most of them. first if you are going to have dental work and are concerned about the cost...then ask. as for small children i can't help you there. my only concern is the turnover in personnel including dentists. oh but I think i have one now who plans to stay around for a long time. talk to your dentist get to know her and her to get to know you! i think it is important for the dentist and patient to develop a patient/dentist relationship. without that there is no trust. i have that now with my new dentist. They did a build-up and crown on my wife, and didn't bother to tell her the type of crown they were using was not covered under her insurance until AFTER the fact. Now they want her to pay the difference when it's their fault for not checking with a MAJOR insurance company first. Furthermore, they did such a poor job on it, the tooth continues to hurt and she has to see another dentist to do the job over again. We will never set foot in that clinic again.

I will happily pull from my families dental needs from this office because of our numerous negative experiences with her, and I have! You would think that in an environment where people are "nervous" to begin with they would put someone who was kind in the front office... NOPE not here! As for the dentists, I miss Dr Carlson, as soon as she left we haven't been as happy there. The hygienists are overall nice but the place is just not what it used to be!

The facility is really nice. My experience with them over the last year has been mixed. While some of the hygienist are very good, the office staff is pushy. They tend to recommend and schedule you for procedures that are optional. Also, it is pricey...Finally getting a after school appt for a cleaning or during lunch hour is next to impossible if you don't schedule 6 months in advance.
