Dr. Aubry Lucas is so skilled. The crowns she has done for me are the best I've ever had, and I have a few from different dentists. The whole office staff is beyond friendly. You can see they all respect and enjoy each other. The whole atmosphere is uplifting. I feel like I'm going to see friends. Even my teenage son is comfortable and can be himself because they talk to him and he feels respected and liked.. We always laugh and have a good time. Yes, at the dentist office! The quality and culture of a business or service is set by the leadership - primarily through their own behaviors. Dr. Lucas (Aubry), the dentist at this Midwest Dental office has created an incredible environment for both the patients and the staff. The staff clearly enjoy working with her. My dental experience with her is that she is meticulous and precise in her work and really in everything that she does. She takes care to ensure that she explains the treatment being performed or that is needed in a way that is clear and understandable. She has a delightful chair-side manner. She strives to provide a pain free experience as best that she can. She is empathetic and supportive. She instills trust. I appreciate that she likes to laugh and be joyful. For some reason Midwest Dental has taken her name off the door to the office entrance which caused me to have a little distress and anxiety (some tears too) because I thought she had left the office. Thankfully, at least to me, she had not.

Not every dentist office can make it easy for a mom to take three young kids to the dentist at the same time. Setting up appointments were easy and I never felt like they rushed or talked down to me. Everyone was great with my kids even my more sensitive child made it through with a smile. They have patience and I was relieved when I left. Down side they did have to refer us to another dentist to fill my child's cavity and they did not send x-rays when asked.

He explains what I need to know, talks like we are old friends, which to me, puts you at ease, and is very professional. Not long ago I chipped a tooth, and to save it I had to have a crown. I am so glad it was done there. Gentle, and great work. It is hard when your dentist leaves and you have to find another. We are fortunate that they moved in!
