Great dentist office, friendly staff. I just wish they had a way to book an appointment online. They claim to have an option to, but it's actually just a contact us form and then they email you asking to call and set up the appointment. Seems like it would be simpler to have the website say "call for appointment" if they aren't going to actually offer any online scheduling tool.

Brand new patient of Dr. Shaik's due to relocating back to the area. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Shaik and his team. I was recently in for my first visit and cleaning. Hands down the BEST cleaning I have had in 22 years -- had been living in Chicago for 22 years and never got this thorough of cleaning. Dr. Shaik did all of the cleaning but the polish. He is incredibly kind and personable. I had to come back for a cavity filling and I can't even tell anything was done because he put the cavity in perfectly for my bite. So happy to have found a wonderful dentist along with his very friendly staff!!

This office is horrible. The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Teeth were polished rather than cleaned and no exam of painful area was done just told they looked great. Staff was arguing and made me very uncomfortable. I regret ever coming here and worry that mine and my families teeth have not been properly cared for.

Just left here for a simple cleaning with my gums pushed back so far they bled and a fat lip from the tool digging into my lip. The hygienist screamed in my ear the whole time talking to the people in the other room, not a word to me. and the wasn’t even seen by the doctor which is why I went in the first place because I have teeth that need filled. two appointments in and still don’t have them fixed or even an appointment to get them fixed. I’m only leaving a review because I know they read them because they were making fun of a former patients review when I walked in. Most painful and pointless cleaning I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve been regularly going to the dentist for 27 years.

I will never step foot in there again. I hope the staff enjoyed themselves. They basically only talked to each other and barely acknowledged my presence. Every part of the procedure was made unbearable right down to the staff's bedside manner or lack thereof. I wouldn't go there if you paid me. Lastly, their staff shouldn't have to make excuses for their employer. You bought cheap x-ray machines. I get that it was a cost-saving decision, but I wish the comfort of your customers was your primary concern. You should also make sure patients know what you're doing BEFORE you do it.

This office has always had a revolving door of doctors but the rest of the staff used to be pretty consistent. The billing has always been awful and very delayed, however. But since mid 2021 when the doctor, the receptionist and the best hygienist left it got much worse. The new staff had no idea what's going on and now the office isn't open enough hours to accommodate regular patients. I never understand why clinics, etc are closed on fridays. That isn't convenient for the patient that's for sure. Won't go back there again. Haven't been there in well over a year and they just sent me a bill (that I did not receive before) "due upon receipt"--- what?? I don't think so!

Love this place so far. I have fairly good teeth, in my opinion. And other dentist have told me this too. But other ones have 'strongly' suggested putting a crown on this tooth or that one. And many times suggested whitening. So far, I have not heard a thing here about either, crowns or whitening. I know they are all trying to make a living. But do what you do well like the kind folks here, and patients will come to you. Thanks.

Jena, my dental hygenist, was very understanding of the reason for me since I had not been to a dentist for many years. She was very knowledgeable and worked very hard yet very easy to get my teeth cleaned of all the tarter build up from many years not being to a dentist. My only question I do not understand is with the office secretary. I have and presented the Humana plan that Midwest Dental everywhere accepts and many give at least a 20% discount on all work, since I do not have any other dental insurance but the office secretary told me I have to purchase their plan to get a discount. I do not understand why the Sterling office will not accept the Humana plan I have when the other Midwest Dentals in the area do.
